Conger Park - Hernando
The Conger Park includes a community built playground that was built in 2001. It has 3 pavilions, 2 tennis courts, 2 walking trails and restrooms. The pavilions are available for rental. The large pavilion has bathrooms attached to it. This is a great park for picnics and parties. 2 1/2 times around the large walking trail is 1 mile. 4 times around the small walking trail is 1 mile.

Arkabutla Lake - Hernando
Located in both Tate and DeSoto counties in north Mississippi, Arkabutla Lake’s remote location is an ideal setting for a serene retreat. Recreation on the lake provides for some of the best fishing in the southeast and some of the best sailing east of the Mississippi River. And, with more than 30,000 acres of land open for public hunting and numerous activities for public involvement, we are certain there is something for everyone!
Playgrounds: Five of Arkabutla Lake’s day-use recreation areas have ADA playgrounds. These areas include: Dub Patton Day-Use Area, South Abutment Day-Use Area, Hernando Point Day-Use Area, Bayou Point, Outlet Channel
Beaches: Two of Arkabutla Lake’s day-use recreation areas have swimming beaches. These areas include: South Abutment Day-Use Area, Hernando Point Day-Use Area
Trails: Arkabutla Lake has a variety of great trails for hiking/nature walking, horseback riding, mountain biking, just enjoying the outdoors. The two nature/hiking trails are located near the Outlet Channel. Coldwater River Nature Trail System, Swinging Bridge Nature Trail, Sunfish Bay Equestrian Trail, Bayou Point Single-Track Mountain Bike Trail, Hernando Point Single-Track Mountain Bike Trail
Disc Golf: Lost Indian Spring Disc Golf Course, Swampy Hollow Disc Golf Course
Admission: Beach Fees: $2/walk-in, $5/vehicle, $20/bus and no fees for children under 16 y/o
