“The Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art is a 1.2 acre park located in the heart of Downtown Jackson. The Art Garden is surrounded by Jackson’s foremost cultural organizations, all of which contributed invaluably to its development, and is designed to engage visitors not only in the visual arts but in all the arts.

The Art Garden features a welcoming lawn, seasonal foliage, native garden beds, permanent art installations, soothing fountains, and outdoor terrace dining. This versatile, open, outdoor space is open to the public from daily during daylight hours. The Museum also hosts a variety of free community events – concert series, festivals, live music during lunch hour, and an outdoor movie series – throughout the year in The Art Garden.
