PEARL’S DINER
“Located in Downtown Laurel, MS, Pearl's Diner has become a landmark and travel destination for people from all around the world. There is no limit to how far people will travel just for the opportunity to #eatatpearls! In Ms. Pearl's kitchen, cans are not allowed. Every meal prepared is made from the freshest ingredients possible. Her motto is "From the Garden to the Kitchen", and she proves it everyday. Serving a variety of homecooked soul food and veggies, Pearl's is open every Monday through Saturday from 11-2. Because of the "fresh factor", the food is rotated out all according to what Ms. Pearl can get her hands on! Some days she serves black-eyed peas, sometimes collard greens or it could be turnip greens! Baked sweet potatoes or candied yams, rice & gravy or mashed potatoes & gravy--You can always count on her award-winning fried chicken to be on the menu, sometimes accompanied with baked chicken, ribs, porkchops, meatloaf, hamburger steak, and on Saturdays it's good ole Mississippi Catfish! A lot of people equate eating at Pearl's to coming home to grandma, and to one day #eatatpearls has become a bucket list item for many around the world.”
