LAUREN ROGERS MUSEUM OF ART

The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, founded in 1923 in historic downtown Laurel, features American Art, European Art, Native American Baskets, Japanese Ukiyo-e Prints, British Georgian Silver, and traveling exhibitions.

Admission: Free. A donation of $3 is suggested

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 AM–4:45 PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
Monday: Closed
Additionally closed on major holidays and the first weekend in December.

VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM

The Veterans Memorial Museum in Laurel, MS, is a 6,000 square ft facility with an extensive collection of military memorabilia that opened in 2005. At its core, it is a memorial to American men and women who honorably served their country in military service, and who continue to serve and defend our country in conflicts around the world. The VMM is more than just another tourist attraction, as this museum features an extensive collection of books, vintage photographs, artifacts, and historical documents from the Civil War all the way to present-day conflicts.
