The Flowood Family Festival will be held on May 8, 2021, at Flowood’s Liberty Park. The annual festival and free concert will feature Chris Tomlin as this year’s headliner.
The gates will open at 4 PM, with space jumps and activities for the kids and will feature food vendors from local Flowood restaurants. A fireworks display will follow the concert that begins at 6:30 PM with Tomlin taking the stage at 8:30 PM.
It is estimated that 20-30 million people across the world sing one of Chris Tomlin’s songs every week in church services in nearly every language. Time magazine heralded him as the “most often sung artist in the world” as his music has inspired and uplifted an entire generation of believers. His tours have sold-out venues everywhere, including New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and Red Rocks.
Pop worship band, I AM THEY will open for Tomlin touring their third album and single, “Faithful God,” It speaks to those familiar times of confusion and feelings about uncertainty about the future, but just as quickly confirms that beyond all hope, God has not let go.
