We are celebrating Dr. Seuss Week all week long at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center! Join us for storytimes and Seuss-tastic activities all week! All activities are included with museum admission.

Tues., March 2nd: Happy Birthday to You - Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel! Come celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with us in the Party Room. We will decorate cupcakes during storytime at 11:30am and 3:30pm and make Seuss party hats in the Artist Studio.

Wed., March 3rd: "It's Wacky Wednesday": Come to the museum dressed in your favorite "wacky attire" and we'll have storytime at 11:30am in Bear Camp Bayou and at 3:30pm in the History Hotel.

Thur., March 4th: "Bartholomew and the Oobleck": We'll have storytime in the Party Room at 3pm "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" and we'll be making Oobleck to follow.

Fri., March 5th: "The Foot Book" - Wear your silliest, funny socks, we'll be wearin' ours too! Come join us for an interactive storytime and we might even do some fancy footwork for "The Foot Book", at 11:30am in Bear Camp Bayou and 3:30pm in the History Hotel. Make a Family Foot Book to take home in the Artist Studio.

Sat., March 6th: "National Day of Unplugging" StoryWalk located between museum front entrance & Kid Street "I Can Name 50 Trees Today".

Sat., March 6th: "Oh the Thinks You Can Think!" Design your own "Thinker Machine" in the Artist Studio, and we'll have "beautiful schlopp with a cherry on top" outside on the deck for storytime at 3pm.
