Great Big Yam Potatoes Old-Time Music Gathering & Fiddle Contest returns for the thirteenth year to the beautiful grounds of Historic Jefferson College near Natchez on May 15 and 16, 2020. The festival celebrates Mississippi’s unique brand of traditional string band and fiddle music. Admission is free.

The weekend begins Friday night, May 15, at 6 p.m., with be a potluck dinner on the grounds. Stay tuned for additional Friday evening events to be added.

On Saturday, May 16, a day full of live acoustic music featuring some of the most region's best Old-Time musicians starts at 9 a.m.

Meanwhile, talented fiddlers of all ages will compete for over $1000 in cash prizes in the Great Big Yam Potatoes Old-TIme Fiddle Contest. 2020 contest rules coming soon. Rules for the 2019 fiddle contest can be found here: https://bit.ly/2Vx6487
