Operation Fit Nation’s “Healthy Halloween” is ready to get the youth of the Oxford Mississippi excited about making healthier choices through this fun and free interactive event! Operation Fit Nation is an organization focused on empowering individuals and communities, through community outreach programming, to take control of their health. This event is designed to facilitate learning about healthy behaviors, like eating healthy and exercise, through active participation. Along with this, we hope to serve as a health-conscious alternative to Halloween festivities in the community. Held since 2011, this event has seen thousands of children and their parents enjoy what Healthy Halloween offers.
This year we are conducting Healthy Halloween in Oxford, MS in partnership with the Oxford Park Commission(OPC). The OPC Activity Center will be transformed into a kid-friendly fun zone where they can play games, test their fitness and nutrition knowledge, get grab bags full of great and nutritious treats, and much more.
Healthy Halloween will be held at the OPC Activity Center on October 31, 2019 from 5:30-7:30pm. The OPC will also have a Haunted Egg Hunt following the Healthy Halloween event. The combination of the events equals tons of fun for all the families who attend.
