Journey To The North Pole, at the Mississippi Children's Museum in Jackson, MS

  • Mississippi Children's Museum 2145 Museum Boulevard Jackson, MS 39202 (map)

Tuesday, November 26-January 5

Drawing inspiration from lessons in navigation and geography, along with traditional holiday literature, Journey to the North Pole transforms the Gertrude C. Ford Exhibition Hall’s 1,800 square feet of space into a magical winter village of twinkling lights and train cars. Only a few feet from the entrance of the exhibit guests will find our thrilling Snowflake Slide, a 45-foot slide down the center staircase of the museum. New this year will be an interactive clock tower with moveable gears and a toddler slide, as well as a Reindeer Rink for sock skating. Journey to the North Pole also provides special times for children to have their photo with Santa, attend special late-night PJ parties with hot cocoa, and listen to classic holiday stories read aloud. This exhibit is Jackson’s best family annual holiday tradition, great for your child’s holiday party, and the perfect backdrop for your holiday card photo. This program is included with general admission or museum membership.

Please note that children must be 36" or taller to ride the Snowflake Slide.
