Get to know Tunica’s history from the folks who know it best—its own citizens! In 1997, five proud Tunica townspeople wanted to preserve their town’s heritage, so they founded the Tunica Museum, which does all that and more!

Here at the Tunica Museum, you’ll see exciting exhibits, attend special educational events, and listen to the best history lectures in town! You’ll follow Tunica’s history from its Native American beginnings to the Civil War to the town it is today—and everything in between. You’ll even see how the addition of casinos in 1992 made gaming a part of the town’s one-of-a-kind culture.
